House Rules

Booking rooms:

An advanced payment to confirm the final reservation is obvious, the reservation advance payment should be 50 % of the total amount due to be paid 14 days up front for direct Bookings / All other booking sites Booking rules are in line.

Check-in / Check out

Normal Check-in time starts at 16h00 until 20h00 (apart from special flight arrangements).

Check-out time is before midday (11h30 at the latest).

Please tell us in advance if you require a later Check-out (16h00 at the latest).

We will do our outmost best to accommodate your request for any late check-outs and check-ins - we charge €20,- per guest for obvious reasons.

Room keys on arrival

During normal working hours the keys will be handed over to the guest after payment and administration. Special arrangements for key collection can be made for late arrivals in advance, and should be communicated when making the reservation.

Room key policy and departure

Please inform us at any time if keys are lost.

A total amount of 15,- Euro for lost keys does apply.

Please leave the room keys in the deposit box on the front desk.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the pergola, the patio, or the reception room (depending on the weather).

Between 08h30 and 10h00 weekdays and during weekends, Breakfast is served until 11:00 h.     

If you require a different timing for Breakfast, please advise us on arrival, if need-be there might be a surcharge depending on your request. (Lunchbox etc.).

Smoking

Smoking is completely forbidden inside the house.   

Smoking is permitted outside the house, please use the ashtrays placed in the yard and barbecue area’s or on the designated spots marked as “smoking area”  (clearly marked “smoking area” shield).

Refunds

There will be no refunds for early departures, for breakdowns of air conditioner, heater, appliances, etc…

If the refund is appropriate / justified it will be reimbursed by a voucher.

Guest Rooms

Please do not use flammables for heating, cooking or the like, irons candles, etc, in the guest room or corridors.  All areas are fire secured this might damage the fire security installations.

The small rooms fridges are to be used only for drinks.

Hotel Boutique Canelobre has foreseen additional fridges (for food only) in the pergola please ask our staff for further information.

Valuables, security and storage

Each room has a Safe available please use for all valuable goods, Hotel Boutique Canelobre cannot be held responsible for any theft lost or damaged items.

Although the guesthouse management takes responsible steps to ensure the safety and security of all guests and their possessions, guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security.

Keep rooms / terraces locked at all times when absent.

Parking Lot

Parking is available free of charge for all house guests in the front of the Hotel Boutique Canelobre.

Do not park in the way of the electrical motorized gate when in a fully open or halfway open position as it closes automatically after a few seconds.

Do not leave any valuables inside your car while it is parked.                                                                              

The Hotel Boutique Canelobre cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of any such articles while your car is parked.

Toilets

No cigarette buds, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads, or any other material, other than toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet.

General

Guests have no access to rooms and areas marked as “PRIVATE”.

 

Common areas:

The patio, reception room, cooking areas, game room, swimming pool and barbecue are common areas of the house and guests are encouraged to use them to their need or recreation, nevertheless there are some rules

  • Always use the available games with respect

  • Never put glasses on the pool table

  • No smoking near the pool table

  • No loud music / nor partying allowed

  • Please respect the pool rules

  • Please respect the common area rules.

Eating and snacking is only allowed at :

  • The pergola from 13:00 – 01:00 h                                                                                                            
  • The pool-house from 21:00 h till 00:30 h.                                                                                                                           

(We advise to make the reservation /, the pool-house can only be reserved for one night, the pool house availability is meant for all the guests, please reconfirm your reservation before 18:00 at reception desk  all reservations are treated in full fairness, if not confirmed the location will be put available for other guests).

This includes all amenities / charcoal.

Eating and snacking in the reception room is completely forbidden (Weather conditions might allow exceptions, please check with the staff).

The access to the Hotel the pool, and the surrounding areas is only allowed for our guests, please contact our CRC staff in case of any Questions.

Drinking your own drinks in one of the public areas (Pergola / Pool-house / Patio) is prohibited, we provide the needed honesty bars, at fair and correct prices.  Please note your consumptions in the list available, indicating your room-number and drinks taken.

The small consumption lists are taken daily by our staff, the Honesty bars will be refilled daily.           

The consumptions will be added to your invoice, at any moment we can provide you with an update on request, the total amount will be charged to your room-account details will be provided.

Drinking your own drinks, is allowed in your room and the connected terrace.

Avoid making noise or disturbing the other house guests, musical instruments, radios, televisions, stereos, and/or any other source of amplified sound shall be played at a volume that shall not disturb or annoy other guests.

We also request the guests to restrain from making any noise outside the building, in the courtyard or in the surroundings, if you chose Casa Rural Canelobre, you chose for a concept of rest and peace, together with our other beloved guests.

The use of music, or any form of party disturbing our other guests in the Pool house & surroundings, or any public area is clearly prohibited.

 

The public cooking area’s:

Please leave them as you found them, in case of any dirt or issue please contact our staff.

Stove / Plancha / Barbecue / Kamado shall be left clean and free of food and grease.                 

Refrigerator cabinets shall be clean and neat as you found them, and cabinets shall not be overloaded.

Do not forget to empty the fridges when checking out.

The cooking area’s includes limited dishes, glasses, and utensils for light meal preparation.

To avoid unwanted visitors : plates, tableware and cutlery to be put in the dishwasher or boxes foreseen.

Sink shall be clean, free of grease and garbage.

Label your food in the refrigerator. 

Trash/garbage shall be stored in a covered container until removed to the collection containers.

Cooking oils or grease shall not be disposed down the kitchen drain.

Garbage disposal, if any, shall be used only in accordance with the disposal instructions.                                 

BARBECUE usage

Keep the barbecue area clean.  After use leave it as you’ve found it.

Please only use the Charcoal and fire starters provided by CRC

Never leave the barbecue unattended once it has been lit.                                                                                                    

At all times please be careful you are cooking with open fire especially in summertime this location is in a very dry area! 

It is absolutely prohibited to move the Barbecues, or make any open fire on the estate.

 

The swimming pool:

The pool is at your disposal from 09h00 until 21h00.  (High summer 21h30).

This is a relax and peaceful area please respect (No dogs allowed accept guide dogs)

Shower compulsory before going to the pool

Only smoke in the designated place in the pool house = smoking area

Nor eating nor dining around the pool and the pool decks including covered seating areas ( Pergola’s )

Food is only allowed in the designated picknick area

Only use the plastic cups / no glass nor glass bottles are allowed around the pool

Guests are responsible for disposing off all trash and littering leaving the area clean.

Sustainability is part of our DNA, please join us and sort/put your waste in the containers around the corner.

Use of tools and objects in the pool are prohibited (such as inflatable rafts etc. )

No running around the pool, nor jumping or diving into the water.

The mini first aid kit is located in the closet of the toilet.

Please close your beach umbrella when leaving.

Close and open it by turning in the right direction wrong manipulation will damage the umbrella (open = turn right, close = turn left)

The pool house is a public place, so please do not leave any personal stuff or belongings such as clothes, towels or other personal stuff.

Reserving any seats (by leaving a towel or personal items) in the whole pool area is forbidden.

The swimming pool is also a quiet place, that cannot be used as a party zone.

 

Pet policies:

Pets are allowed provided that the pet owner agrees to the following conditions:

Price : 15€ / pet / night.

The pet is domestical, flea free, not prone to shedding, and not prone to damaging property.

Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. 

If evidence of excessive pet hair is found in the room, a fine will be charged.                                           

The cost to repair any damage done by a guest’s pet(s), such as chewing on the furniture, stains on the carpet (pet urine) will be charged to the guest’s credit card and/or deducted from the damage deposit.

The guests will be charged for any additional cleaning charge.

Guests must always clean up after their pets in all areas of the hotel.

If pets are left alone in the room, please make sure to check on them regularly.

We love all animals, though we can only accept small or midsize dogs, to ensure the comfort of the owners as well as their dogs in the rooms.

The guest agrees to monitor pet’s noise so that the pet(s) DO NOT DISTURB house guests, and certifies that pet(s) will be under the complete control of a responsible human companion and on a hand-held leash at all times when outdoors in all public areas.

If we receive one or more complaints regarding barking or aggressive pet behaviour, the guest, will be formally warned / informed.

If there is no improvement, we will ask the guest kindly with their pet(s) to leave with forfeiture of all rents and security deposits.

 

Environmental Policy:

– The Team and the owners of Casa Rural Canelobre are dedicated to the protection of our planets resources and would encourage our guests to help us by:

* Switching off lights when not in use;

* Ensuring that taps are always turned off after use;

* Avoiding the unnecessary use of towels – just use what you need!;

* We will sort the recyclable rubbish collected from guest rooms i.e. paper, plastic, metal and glass (please do not put glass bottles in the bin of the room we will sort with it in full discretion)

We thank you in advance for your comprehension and co-operation.

 

Your Liabilities:

We will hold you responsible for any damage or loss caused to our property by your acts or omissions, default, accident or neglect.

By booking with us you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand an amount reasonably required to make good or to rectify such damage or loss caused by you.

The abuse or use of narcotics on the whole estate is prohibited.  If we would be confronted at any means, the guest will be asked to leave with forfeiture of all rents and security deposit, and Hotel Boutique Canelobre will take the necessary legal obligations and actions with the authorities.

Please report any accidents or incidents in connection with any property damage, to the Hotel Boutique Canelobre team.

By law the place has to be quiet from 22:00 h 

 

General incapacity:

The Hotel Boutique Canelobre cannot be held liable if any of the following events or conditions prevents the guest house from fulfilling its obligation to guests. However, the guest house will take necessary steps to minimize disruption and discomfort to guests under these conditions:

* Unanticipated interruption to electricity, water, sewage to and from the guest house;

* Industrial actions, civil uprising or criminal activity;

* Fire, frost, flooding, wind or any other force major event.

Because we have several guests, we ask you to respect each other concerning cleanliness of the common areas and noise level.      

If we receive complaints, you will be given a warning. Further complaints are subject to the termination of stay.                                         

We reserve the right to end a reservation if a guest becomes a disturbance/nuisance to others including management.

Please always respect the house and its occupants, in any given situation.
